Workshop Venue

The workshop will be held at the City University of Hong Kong. Please refer to Campus Map, Campus Directory or Google Maps for directions.

Transportation from Airport to CityU

  • Taxi: Please note that only red-colored (urban) taxis are allowed to travel to CityU. The estimated fare is approximately HKD 300. Additional fare may occur for large luggages or tolled roads. For further information, please refer to CityU Taxi Card and Taxi Fare.
  • Train: For directions, please refer to MTR Route Planner. After alighting at Kowloon Tong Station, use Exit C2, G2 (walk through footbridge after exiting), or H to enter Festival Walk Shopping Centre. Follow the signs on LG1 level to reach CityU. Detailed guidance can be found at Guide to CityU from MTR.
  • Bus: Take bus route E22 at the Ground Transportation Centre of the airport. Alight at the stop of Shek Kip Mei Park Cornwall Street. For bus schedule, please refer to CityBus.

Other Useful Information

  • Time Zone: Hong Kong operates on Hong Kong Standard Time (UTC+8). Hong Kong does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
  • Weather: The average temperature in Hong Kong during January typically ranges from 13°C to 18°C (55°F to 64°F). For current weather updates, please visit Hong Kong Observatory.
  • Electricity: Hong Kong uses a voltage of 220V and a frequency of 50Hz. The power plugs and sockets are of type G (British standard 1363). A suitable adapter may be required for visitors from regions with different plug types.
  • Visa: Please ensure you have the appropriate travel documents to enter Hong Kong. Visas are not required for citizens of most countries. For Chinese Mainland residents, please check the validation of your entry permit card. Please refer to Hong Kong Immigration Department for more instructions.
